Having played violin for much of my youth, my folk parentage started showing through as the violin became a fiddle more often than not. After searching out the ceilidh band at university I switched onto playing the Mandolin and Guitar as I found it much more fun to bounce around and rock out on them. Between playing ceilidhs I am usually found dancing at them.
